By booking an overnight stay, the guest automatically agrees to the booking conditions and regulations.
Cancellation is free of charge up to two days before the scheduled arrival date. If the guest cancels within two days of arrival, the cost of the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the guest will be charged the total price of the reservation.
Oldschool hotel reserves the right to charge a prepayment.
There may be an additional charge for changing a reservation.
In the event of incorrect rates or availability, obvious errors and mistakes (including printing errors, typographical errors, and zero rates) are not binding. For example: If a room costs an average rate of €100 throughout the year, a rate of €10 qualifies as an obvious error and the reservation will not be honored.
Use of the parking lot is at your own risk. Oldschool hotel cannot be held liable for any damage or theft.
Check-in is from 14:00 onwards. If the guest arrives earlier, luggage can be left at the hotel.
Our check-out time is no later than 11:00. We kindly ask guests to vacate the room on time. If the guest wishes to have the room available after 11:00 on the day of departure, this can be requested at the reception for a fee (subject to availability).
The municipality of Winterswijk charges Tourist Tax, which is currently €1.75 per person per night. Please note: The guest pays the costs applicable on the day of arrival at the hotel. It is possible that the Tourist Tax has been increased, in which case the guest will be required to pay the difference.
General Rules
All instructions related to house rules provided by this hotel must be followed. Complaints can be reported to the reception.
Under all circumstances, we respect your privacy; however, we reserve the right to enter your room if we believe our house rules are not being complied with.
To prevent noise disturbance, guests are requested to refrain from making noise in the atrium after 23:00.
Lighting candles is not permitted due to fire safety regulations.
In the event of a fire, please remain calm. Report the fire to reception and/or activate the nearest fire alarm.
In case of a general fire alarm, evacuate the building immediately and await further instructions from our staff or the fire department.
A valid identification is required upon check-in. If the room is reserved for 2 persons, both must provide valid identification.
Unregistered or other hotel guests are not allowed in the room. If other guests are found in the room, you will be asked to leave the hotel immediately.
Cameras are installed in various locations inside and outside the hotel; everyone on the premises consents to being recorded. In the event of emergencies and/or incidents, these recordings may be used as supporting material for authorities.
Found items should be handed in at the reception (only when someone is physically present). If not, you may leave the found item in your room for the cleaning staff. In this case, please send us a WhatsApp, text message, or email explaining where and at what time you found it.
Oldschool hotel is not responsible for the loss or theft of your belongings.
The management, owner of this location, and/or individuals working for the hotel cannot be held liable for any injury and/or material or immaterial damage experienced by visitors of the location.
It is not allowed to:
Take hotel property outside the building. In the event of willful damage to Oldschool hotel’s property, the guest will be held liable for repair and/or replacement costs.
Consume, use, trade, or possess narcotics on the premises.
Use or bring laughing gas during your visit to our hotel. If laughing gas is found in the room, you will be asked to leave the hotel immediately.
Cause disturbance to others, including playing loud music, exhibiting unruly behavior, or making any kind of noise.
Rent a room under your name without staying in the room yourself.
Stay in the room with more people than the allowed capacity.
Receive paid guests in the room for sexual activities.
Smoke in the room. If smoking is detected in the room, a cleaning fee of €250 will be charged. If the fire alarm is triggered due to smoking in the room, you will also be billed €300 for the fire department’s call-out fee.
